The Royal Spanish Cycling Federation granted the 2019 BMX Freestyle
Spanish Championship's organization to Festibike. Throughout Saturday
different qualification phases will be developed, reserving Sunday for the
Final of the Championship.
On June 2017, the International Olympic Committee confirmed the
modality of BMX Freestyle would be part of the programme of the Tokyo
2020 Olympic Games. The National Championship grants points to achieve
a place to participate in the next Olympic Games. |
The RFEC and Last Lap already reached an agreement last year to organize
the first BMX Freestyle Spanish Championship. The Community of Madrid
and, more specifically, the Bike Park of Leganés, were the site of this first
Spanish Championship, an Olympic sport in Tokyo 2020.
Without a doubt, Festibike is the perfect site to host the BMX Freestyle
Spanish Championship in their modalities of Bikepark and Flatland. |
